Should i buy an electric car or are they just boring as i have a nitro and the smell and noise makes it alot of fun any ideas?

ive had nitro, petrol & electric there all good fun just loose the speed when it comes to electric altho less to go wrong and less running cost

I like any sct and prefer a 1/10 scale brushless one. An electric car with the right speed makes it a great basher. The sct tend to break less in my experience as they don't have extended wheels like a buggy or truggy. I have had a nitro rustler, and a 1/16 e revo vxl. I currently have a sc10gt and an electric slashe 2wd with a sidewinder sct combo swap. They are not the fastest (e revo was very fast but it breaks to easy) but they are my favorite.
If you buy electric be sure it is brushless for speed and get lipo batteries

are the electric cars as fun as the nitro ones i.e. skids, speed etc? How long do the batts last now i had a tame mini years ago and the batt lasted all of 15mins after approx 1hr or so charge quite useless to be honest
